SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION RULES
To assess whether the objectives of the scheme of studies are being adequately achieved, the school has evolved a scheme of examination and promotion rules consistent with the concept of evaluation developed by competent autonomous agencies duly recognized like CBSE and DAV Centre for Excellence. Details of same are as follows:
1.) For Classes Pre School to Class II:
 
a.) The academic year will be divided into Three terms.
b.) Students’ performance shall be evaluated on the basis of these assessments.
c.) Marks will be converted into grades and remarks.
2.) For Classes III to V:
 
a.)
The academic year  is divided into 3 evaluations, with 2 credits in each evaluation i.e. a total of six credits in each main subject.
b.) Every Credit of main subject will carry weightage of 50 marks each. Marks will be converted into grades
c.)
For grading subjects, only one credit test per evaluation will be conducted.
d.)
Credit Tests have to be written in Test copies only.
e.)  All the Credit Tests are compulsory. The Students' final result shall be evaluated on the basis of comulative addition of the marks obtaind in all the credits which will be converted into grades as per the Key to Grades given.
 
  The Key to Grades (Scholastic Achievements) is given in the following table:

  Co-Scholastic attainments 2(A,B,C& D) and 3(A,B) will be done on 5 point Scale (shown in the table below). It will be done once in a session. Minimum qualifying grade in Co-Scholastic Domain is D.

3.) For Classes VI to XII:
 
As per guidelines and instructions laid down by DAVCAE and CBSE.
